In the past, the coachmen of the stagecoaches looked for a relaxing rest in our house for travellers and horses alike on their arduous journey through the Hochsauerland. If our guests come today also clearly more comfortably to us, it makes us still large joy to continue this tradition and to entertain our overnight and day guests.
Manual work is the trump card in our kitchen. Chef Karl-Josef Bremerich cooks fresh, creative, with regional ingredients and seasonally oriented. He spices up experience and tradition with current trends and knowledge and combines Sauerland dishes with refined borrowings from other regions. Let his passion melt in your mouth!
We are happy to recommend our daily changing daily special or a delicious piece of homemade cake to our guests.
Our kitchen is open daily in the winter season from 12.00 to 14.00 o'clock and 18.00 to 20.30 o'clock for you.

Our jewel is the Kaminstube.
With its lovely furnishings, it invites you to enjoy a glass of wine by the fireplace after a Rothaarsteig hike or a ski tour to the Kahlen Asten, to read a good book or to make yourself comfortable with your loved ones in the warmth.
